CAPABILITIES / DIGITAL MANUFACTURING
Design the part.
Plan the process.
CAD and physical production belong in the same workflow. These are the capabilities Cypress Signal is building around.
01
CAD & product design
Work through the part before making it.
Sketches and reference parts become a starting point for discussing geometry, fit, assembly, and use. The design process considers the hardware it connects to and the material it will be made from.
- Part and enclosure concepts
- Fit and mounting layouts
- Design iteration for a defined use
02
3D printing & prototypes
Use a physical prototype to answer a real question.
The production plan centers on FDM printing for practical parts and repeatable batches. Material, orientation, finish, and the actual application belong in the same conversation. Resin printing is part of the planned expansion for detailed work.
- Fit-check prototypes
- Fixtures and housings
- Small-batch production planning
03
Laser & metal fabrication
More processes, one considered design.
Laser cutting and metal fabrication are part of the wider workshop plan. Panels, mounting pieces, and mixed-material assemblies can be considered during design; the available process and production route are confirmed for each project.
- Panel and enclosure concepts
- Mixed-material assemblies
- Process and finishing review
04
Custom sim hardware
Design around the setup you actually use.
Controller mounts, adjustable brackets, panels, and enclosures are a development focus. The mount, control position, physical access, and cable routing are considered together.
- Chair and desk mount concepts
- Control-panel enclosures
- Setup-specific fit and adjustment
PROJECT SCOPINGThe workshop is being developed in stages. Enquiries are welcome; equipment availability, materials, scope, and lead times are confirmed before a production commitment.
