Cypress Signal connects digital design with physical making: understanding a problem, developing a part, checking the fit, and planning how to make it.
Jeremy Smyth is building the studio in Louisiana. The direction spans a 3D-print production workflow, CAD and design, resin printing, laser cutting, metal fabrication, and custom sim-rig hardware.
The workshop is developing in stages. Sim mounts and hardware offer a concrete starting point, while project enquiries help define the jobs the studio needs to support.
Every project starts with its purpose. The shape, material, and process should follow from that.
